Some people suffer headaches only occasionally, while for others the problem is chronic. Practitioners advise applying pressure to the web between the thumb and forefinger. It can happen due to muscle tension also. So you are advice to observe your normal posture and movements and then teach your ways to change any bad habits.
You must see a doctor about any unexplained change in the nature and frequency of your headaches. Especially headache is severe and comes on suddenly, without warning. If you have a fever and stiff neck or difficulty turning the head or recurring frequently in the same place, such as above or in an eye. Symptoms like blurred vision, partial paralysis; loss of consciousness or sensation, and other neurological changes is the warning and must consult your doctor before taking any medicine. Doctors may advice tests for chronic headaches before prescribing medicine.
