Evening primrose is a member of the rosebay willow herb family. Its country name is derived from the fact that its primrose yellow flowers open mainly in the evening. The seeds from the flowers of the plant are harvested and pressed to release the oil.

Evening Primrose oil is rich GLA which plays a vital role in many different bodily functions.  The fatty acid found in GLA has found to have positive effects on the PMS (Pre Menstrual Tension), circulation, and the Immune system.

Each Vitabits high strength evening Primrose capsule contains 1000mg of the active ingredient.

Evening Primrose Oil 1000mg (GLA 9% providing 84mg GLA), Vitamin E 10mg (100% RDA), Gelatin, Glycerine.

Dosage

For adults take one to three capsules daily as a food supplement or as directed by a healthcare professional.
